 The handle is the key part of a pallet truck which helps the operator to work with the truck safely and productively. For this reason, Crown has developed the ergonomic and innovative X10® handle and has included it on all of its pallet truck and powered stacker series. A decisive advantage is the centre-mounted tiller and handle. This guarantees excellent fork tip visibility from the normal driving position and also optimal visibility on both sides of the truck. The load can be placed more quickly and operating errors or damage to the goods reduced. Furthermore, the operator is always the same distance from the power unit with the centre-mounted handle during both right and left hand turns. The result: The risk of accidents is minimised and the productivity of the operator is maximised.
Award-winning X10® handle
The X10® handle is easy to operate due to its simple, visible and intuitive controls. Minimum hand and wrist movements are required during operation. The light steering allows the operator to work in a confident, safe and efficient manner.
The 'brake override' function is ideal for working in cramped conditions, as the lift truck will travel at a very low speed with the handle in an almost vertical position. When used in this position, the handle stays within the contours of the truck and therefore allows excellent manoeuvrability in even the tightest of spaces.
Crown's X10® handle has already won two international design prizes. It was awarded the famous 'iF product design award' from iF Design Forum in Hanover and the coveted 'red dot award' which is annually awarded by the Design Centre Nordrhein Westfalen for superior and innovative design.
