Fork Tip Indicators - The Visible Difference

 Fork tip visibility is an important factor for productive working in the warehouse. That is why the fork tip on Crown trucks is marked with colour indicators as standard. No more than a quick glance by the operator will be required in order to position a load more effectively at height.
Three diagonal orange bars are recessed on the upper surface of the forks of all Crown high level order pickers while the top of the forks of all Crown pallet trucks have an orange triangle at the tapered end. All other Crown models incorporate three diagonal orange bars recessed into both the upper and under side of the forks.
 ''Sometimes it can be difficult to see the exact position of the forks'' explains Gary Thurner, Product Marketing Manager at Crown in Munich. ''In order to compensate for this, the operators move the forks very slowly to the desired position and in so doing slow down the process. Other operators try to solve the problem by experimenting, which can result in damage to products, shelves or pallets.'' With the help of the fork tip indicators, the operator can position the forks significantly more quickly when placing and retrieving pallets at heights or at floor level.
Crown's fork tip indicators, unique within the industry, ensure efficiency and confidence and help to prevent damage to product pallets or racks in the warehouse.
