Application

Family-run Australian ceiling fan manufacturer Hunter Pacific International runs a busy warehouse at its head office in Dural, NSW, where it designs and engineers its cutting-edge products. Hunter Pacific’s warehouse is its central point for distributing its products around Australia and the world.

Challenge

Hunter Pacific required material handling equipment possessed of quality and value which could perform reliably – especially during peak seasons for ceiling fan sales in Australia. The company director also wanted to work with the right brand to help him grow his business and work as a trusted business partner.

Solution

Hunter Pacific began its relationship with Crown over 15 years ago when Hunter Pacific bought a Crown hand pallet truck. That led to a succession of Crown equipment being purchased as the company expanded its warehousing and distribution channels.

The company now exclusively runs an array of Crown material handling equipment, including the SC 4500 Series three-wheel counterbalanced truck for day-to-day warehouse management. The SC 4500 features Crown’s exclusive e-GEN braking system for efficiency and reduced maintenance, a clear-view mast for effective visibility and Crown-built AC drive motors for performance and longevity.

The business also uses a Crown WAVE Work Assist Vehicle for managing smaller stock items. The revolutionary WAVE allows one person to safely and efficiently accomplish the work of two while travelling twice as fast as the average walking speed.
