Dr. Walter Rodig, an independent consultant and expert in industrial trucks worldwide, has ranked Crown fifth in the world in his published annual review of industrial trucks for 2000-2001. Despite manufacturing only electric lift trucks, Crown rose from seventh to fifth in Rodig's analysis of motorized industrial trucks. Wolfgang Degenhard co-authored the world rankings with Rodig, a well-known German analyst.
