 Crown Equipment Corporation, the manufacturer of Crown lift trucks, has opened a factory branch, located at 2890 112th Street in Grand Prairie, TX, to serve the Dallas-Fort Worth market.
The newest Crown branch will handle material handling equipment sales, rentals, parts and service for Crown's full line of products. In addition to lift trucks, Crown will sell a variety of warehouse products including rack, shelving and dock equipment.
In early January, 2003 Crown started operations at the same Grand Prairie address as the former Crown Dealer, Shannon Corporation. Mark Heitkamp is the branch manager, relocating from the Crown Pittsburgh, PA, branch, where he held the same position. Heitkamp, a longtime Crown employee, has an extensive background in the material handling industry, including experience in service, parts and sales management.
