This time the company’s PE 4000 Series pallet truck has brought more design acclaim to the fifth leading manufacturer of lift trucks in the world.
The PE 4000 Series rider pallet truck earned recognition with a Silver Industrial Designers Excellence Award, one of only 45 Silver Award winners in the program sponsored by BusinessWeek and Industrial Design Society of America (IDSA).
Jurors praised Crown’s design efforts for working directly with pallet truck operators further raising the ergonomic bar for this durable and reliable product. Jurors also appreciated the pallet truck’s practical elements such as easy service access.
"This company has so integrated design into its being that any product they make will look good," said one juror about Crown.
Overall, since the mid-1960s Crown products have received 50 design awards, unparalleled in the material handling industry.
