German Publication Ranks Crown Fifth Largest in the World
Crown Equipment Corporation now ranks fifth in the German magazine dhf's World Ranking of Manufacturers of Powered Industrial Trucks for 2005-06, climbing one position from the previous ranking. Ongoing worldwide increases in sales for the past two reporting periods, 2004/2005 and 2003/2004, contributed to Crown moving up in the ranking.
Significant growth in the European market led to expansions at Crown's Roding, Germany production facility. Crown also increased production in Mexico and opened a new production facility in China in October 2006.
The company has corporate headquarters in New Bremen, Ohio, USA; Munich, Germany; Sydney, Australia and Suzhou, China.
