Crown Equipment Corporation, one of the world’s leading forklift manufacturers, today announced the company had been ranked highest in Truck Design and Operator Controls, the two features mentioned most frequently as being very important to safety, in a survey of material handling professionals conducted by Reed Research.

The survey responses included more than 300 material handling professionals responsible for the purchase of lift trucks. Crown has manufactured electric lift trucks since 1957 and released its first internal combustion (IC) forklift, the Crown C-5 Series, in November 2009.
