What is it?
Crown proactively addresses stability with its Intrinsic Stability System. Rather than react to potentially dangerous situations, the Intrinsic Stability System works to prevent many of these situations from occurring in the first place.

Intrinsic Stability System offers several unique features:

• A hydraulic system automatically controls tilt and limits side-shift speed, which increases vehicle stability.
• Travel speeds and braking are also automatically controlled based on fork height and other operating conditions.
• When forks and mast are tilted more than two degrees forward, a tilt interlock keeps forks from raising above free lift.
• Crown trucks know the direction of travel, angle of steer wheels and truck speed, and automatically adjust travel speed during turns.
• Crown’s intelligent control system keeps a truck at a constant ramp speed so it doesn’t gain or lose momentum. It also automatically holds a truck stopped on an incline until the operator initiates forward or reverse travel.
