Crown’s C-D Counterbalance series is designed with reliability in mind. For example, consider the enclosed oil cooled disc brake system which virtually eliminates outside contamination for extended brake life up to 5 times.
Reliability is further achieved through the power reversal transmission. It’s top-mounted control valve accurately modulates clutch oil pressure for smooth forward / reverse direction changes and long transmission life.
In addition, the lift truck’s full floating drive axle, hydrostatic steering and aluminum radiator all contribute to high performance, low maintenance and long lifespans.

Ease of access begins with the tool-less side covers and floor plates. In addition, electrical components are integrated and placed at the front of the engine compartment.
Dual element air cleaners extend engine by allowing cool clean air to enter the engine intake system.
