The automated and manual operating modes offered by Crown's DualMode lift trucks provide flexibility to utilize automation where it makes sense then switch to manual operation to accommodate dynamic changes in the production plan. Trained employees can perform the switch to manual mode, complete the operation and return the vehicle to automated mode.

Reinforce Operator Training and Accelerate Onboarding
Do you experience frequent operator turnover? Expanding your operation with new operators? Crown's ProximityAssist System is a LiDAR-based assist technology that actively limits travel speed when the lift truck approaches a detected object, further enabling the operator to take appropriate action. Integration with the forklift enables adjustment of the sensor field length and shape based on forklift speed and steering angle.
The ProximityAssist System can be ordered with new lift trucks and is also available using retrofit kits.
It is available for reach trucks, order pickers, stand-up counterbalance lift trucks, very narrow aisle turret trucks, tow tractors and select rider pallet trucks.
