From the wide-open operator window to its rock solid stability system, Crown’s SP Series order pickers are designed to help busy order pickers maintain confidence at height and efficiently handle a variety of tasks.
Ample use of steel – from the mast to the side gates, and everything in between – means less sway and more operator certainty for greater all-around productivity.
That’s why Crown engineers developed the most stable mast in the industry with heavy gauge steel, wide outer C-channels and inner I-beams, robust stabilizing angular cross members and exclusive vertical mast braces.
With Crown’s Stability Stance, operators have four points of solid contact with the stockpicker when stopping and starting from 30 feet in the air.
Performance that Rises Above
Crown’s stockpicker supports a variety of operational needs while delivering speeds that ensure the fastest cycle times.
Regenerative lowering, available on some SP Series order picker models, captures lost energy and returns it to the battery, equating to fewer battery changes, longer shifts and reduced costs. Linear speed control, an option on many competitors’ trucks, is standard on all SP models and utilizes a variable height sensor to measure platform height and determine the optimum speed level.
V-Force Lead-Acid Batteries offer the advantages of lower initial cost than other battery technologies and proven, trusted performance for light to heavy duty cycles, from one to three shifts. With proper maintenance, they can support conventional, opportunity and fast charging, delivering reliable energy when it’s needed.
V-Force Lithium-Ion Energy Storage Systems can improve performance and productivity, with technology that provides more consistent power output throughout the entire battery discharge cycle. Shorter recharge times and better charge acceptance characteristics make them great alternative power solutions for opportunity and fast charging applications.
Wire guidance automates steering control, allowing for minimal aisle widths.
Rail guidance automates steering control, allowing for minimal aisle widths. Rail guidance is not affected by facility power outages.
The pallet clamp secures pallets with stringers to prevent unwanted movement.
End aisle control provides a programmable method for automatically slowing the SP Series at a particular location and automatically resuming normal travel speed at another location.
Auxiliary mast on the 3-Wheel SP Series adjusts load height allowing the operator to ergonomically pick to short pallets and bins. Load capacity is 2,200 lbs and is available with platform heights up to 355”/fork heights up to 378”.
