Crown Equipment President Jim Dicke III Named to National Association of Manufacturers Board of Directors

Dicke continues Crown Equipment’s history of contributions to NAM leadership

NEW BREMEN, Ohio (Oct. 29, 2026) – Crown Equipment, one of the world’s largest material handling companies, today announced that Jim Dicke III, president, has been named to the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Board of Directors for the 2027-28 term.

NAM represents manufacturers across a wide range of industries and works to advance their interests in Washington.

Crown has a long history of involvement with NAM with Crown executives previously serving on the association's board. Members of Crown's legal and compliance teams also participate in NAM meetings and policy discussions, while company representatives contribute to panels at association events.

“Manufacturing has been central to Crown’s business for more than eight decades, and we’ve seen firsthand how technology, workforce needs and customer expectations have changed,” Dicke said. “Crown has worked closely with NAM for many years, and we value the opportunity to contribute to its efforts on behalf of its members. I look forward to participating in the board’s activities drawing from Crown’s perspective as a global manufacturer.”

As a board member, Dicke will contribute to NAM’s work on issues including workforce development, trade and regulatory policy. The organization also advocates for tax policies that encourage investment and permitting reforms that make it easier for manufacturers to expand their operations.

Dicke joined Crown in 1996 as vice president of human resources and became executive vice president in 2000 before being named president in 2002. He earned a bachelor’s degree in management and finance from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
